We built billing and inventory as one system, not two — every sale rung up at the counter updates stock immediately, so the dashboard reflects what's actually on the shelf, not what a spreadsheet says should be.

GST is handled per line item (rate, CGST + SGST split) rather than bolted on at the end of the bill, and every product carries a reorder threshold so low stock surfaces on its own instead of being noticed at checkout.

The result is one system covering the daily retail loop: a Billing/POS screen with barcode search and multiple payment modes, Inventory with live counts and low-stock alerts, Sales & Invoices, Purchases, Supplier and Customer management, Staff & Roles, and a Reports dashboard.

The dashboard surfaces what a store owner checks every day — today's sales and profit, total stock value, low-stock items needing reorder, and a top-selling-products list — without opening a separate report.
